Section 29
Disposition versions
29. The floor of the passenger compartment shall be made of steel sheet metal of 14-gauge thickness, shall be riveted, bolted or welded to the bus or minibus structure and shall be sealed so as to prevent any infiltration of vapours or fumes.
The application of the requirement provided for in this section, with respect to a bus or minibus whose passenger compartment floor is made of a material with mechanical properties equivalent or better than those of a steel sheet metal of 14-gauge thickness, is solidly attached to the structure of the vehicle and is sealed so as to prevent any infiltration of vapours or fumes is suspended.
